Title or Location: Pine River, Vallecito, Colorado
I painted this recently from a photo I took during a Friends Weekend several years ago. We stopped our bicycles on the bridge and snapped a few photos. The icy cold water was a brilliant blue from the mineral content. The Pine River flows into Vallecito Lake near Bayfield and Durango.

Title or Location: The Egyptian
This is a master's copy that was modeled from a XIX century drawing by Jean L. Gerome (original title: "Head of a Fellah") which appears in the compilation of drawing plates (a.k.a., Bargue plates) organized by art researcher and author Gerald Ackerman (Bargue-Gerome Drawing Course). The original plate is a black and white drawing I painted it in colors from imagination (16" X 20" oil on board).

Title or Location: Buddy
My sister wanted a personal gift for a co-worker that would touch her heart. My sister, being my biggest fan, knew my artwork has a history of doing such things. I get the biggest joy out of the reaction others get by seeing what I create. My heart is full when I know my talent can bring that much joy to others. I was very proud of this drawing as I captured his little attitude in picture.

Title or Location: Lily Belle and the Unicorn
My painting of young Lily Belle carries the message of "Hope for the World", just a token of magic spell so needed in our current existence, materializing on a child's dream. The Unicorn symbolizes innocence and magical wishes of children, appearing only to a rare few ones when called through the soft tinkling sound of tiny bells.

Title or Location: Fenton Lake Reflection
On the Winter Solstice, 2023, my partner drove me to Fenton Lake State Park. The lake was partially frozen, creating a beautiful range of textures, and a reflection of a half moon. Everything appeared to be in between states -- ice vs water and moon vs sun. My focus in landscapes is on transience and capturing what will soon melt away, so this was a wonderful sight to behold. This is one of a series of paintings I'm working on from that special day.

Title or Location: The Girls
This is Isla, Ellie and Millie. Oil on canvas 27.5 inches x 39.5. They are my friends daughters. I often ask how 'the girls' are doing and there's always a funny story. Isla is full of mischief. Ellie is the sassy budding artist and Millie is a 'little devil' in the best way. I thought it was important to try and capture each of their personalities by working and finishing one at a time. They are beautiful girls. This was a pleasure to paint and I feel it has really tested my ability. I've defin

Title or Location: Memories of Bassano Del Grappa
A beautiful town in northern Italy - a town who protected partisans during WW2 and suffered the loss of all men and boys as retribution. Today it still bears the marks of war on the walls of the town, with the wooden bridge having been rebuilt a number of times due to war. This mosaic commission was created for a much happier reason, to commemorate a long held friendship between two families, here in Australia and there in Italy. Entirely created with hand cut pieces of glass.
